We started strain gauge testing this week, building the circuit shown below. Note that the LF353 is omitted, and the circuit is currently running directly from a 5V source without the planned 7.5V to 5V voltage regulator.
To test it, we fixed the strain gauges to the crank arm:
Unfortunately, one of the strain gauges broke during installation. This prevents us from testing the full circuit, although all individual components were tested and confirmed to be working
The image below shows that the led strip works.
We’ve already begun to make the code to control it.The idea is to create a thread to make the control of the led strip. This is the first version of it, improvements are being done :
